Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill is looking to bounce back against Khalil Rountree Jr this weekend.
Hill lost his belt to Alex Pereira in 2024 and then followed that loss up with another against Jiri Prochazka at UFC 311 in January.

That was the first time he had been beaten in back-to-back fights, so he will be desperate to get back on track for another title shot.
The 34-year-old now faces Rountree Jr, who is also coming into this bout off the back of a defeat, losing to Pereira as he challenged for the title in October last year.
He was on a five-fight win streak before that though, leaving him in a similar situation to Hill, as they both look to return to winning ways.

This light-heavyweight bout will take place on Saturday, June 21 at the Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan.
The preliminary card will get going at around 5pm UK time, with the main card set for 8pm and the main event at around 11pm.

Hill vs Rountree Jr: What has been said?
Hill doesn’t believe Rountree Jr is on his level as a UFC fighter and he’s seemingly expecting a mismatch in the Octagon.
He told MMA Junkie: “I just don’t see [Rountree Jr.] as on my level.
“Even with the fights that he’s put in… I haven’t seen anything from anything that makes me think, ‘This dude is on your level.’
“Is he dangerous to anybody? It’s a fight. In a fight, anybody can land a shot, and that makes them dangerous and can change the fight. He has my respect in that regard.
“But to think skill-for-skill, he can match with me? I don’t see it that way.”
