Carlos Tevez rolled back the years as his FOUR goals inspired World XI to a 5-4 win at Soccer Aid – although the fans didn’t fully appreciate his efforts.
The former Manchester United and Manchester City forward spearheaded World XI’s comeback win over England, which saw them claim the victory despite being 3-0 down in the second half.

His quadruple of goals saw the game get tied at 4-4 in the closing stages before the winning goal came from the most unlikely of sources.
Rapper and singer Big Zuu had the final say as his low left-footed strike beat England goalkeeper Paddy McGuinness at the near post.
Despite most of the fans in attendance getting behind England, Big Zuu was a popular match-winner with fans at Old Trafford cheering his goal as well as chanting ‘Zuu’ when he copied Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration.
It got a much better reception than any of Tevez’s goals with his fourth even seeing him get booed by some of the fans – a clear indication that Man United fans are still not over the Argentine forward leaving the Red Devils for their local rivals 16 years ago.
Things were going swimmingly for England, who won last year’s edition of the charity match as they raced to a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Wayne Rooney and former England Women’s footballer Toni Duggan.
Jermain Defoe then made it 3-0 early in the second half – but then Tevez got to work.
Tevez scored a quickfire double to breathe new life into the contest before Defoe got his second and England’s fourth of the night.
But Tevez wasn’t done there as he scored another two solo goals to pull World XI level.
It would’ve been fitting to see man-of-the-match Tevez score the winner but that honour came to Big Zuu, who received a pass from YouTuber Tobi Brown before wrong-footing McGuinness.
At the time of writing, over £15million has been raised for children’s charity UNICEF through Soccer Aid.

Before the match there was a hairy moment on ITV’s coverage of Soccer Aid, with the broadcaster forced to apologise for Tyson Fury’s industrial language in the dressing room.
The retired heavyweight boxing legend was guilty of dropping an F-bomb while doing a team talk for the England players in the dressing room.
Fury exclaimed: “We are England! We are f****** Spartans!”
His outburst caught Redknapp off guard as he swore himself whilst struggling to contain his laughter.
Meanwhile, the camera cut to the players in the dressing room as they were left in hysterics by the incident.
Fury then concluded by once again shouting: “We are Spartans!” at the top of his voice.
