Colm Keys: Yes, because it lacked the required energy for a first championship game, coming so soon after defeat to Tyrone in the league. Granted, they were never going to lose but it underlined just how dependent they have become on Con O’Callaghan. This was too similar a shade to their win over Wexford, then a Division 4 team too, in 2021.
