The GAA have announced details of next weekend’s All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals. Following a meeting of the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) it has been confirmed that Croke Park will stage back-to-back double headers.
Donegal’s clash with Monaghan will kick off the weekend with a 4.0 throw-in on Saturday followed by Dublin versus Tyrone at 6.15. That arrangement means that Jim McGuinness’s team will be the only one of the eight quarter-finalists who face a six-day turnaround between their games.
