Mickey Harte has voiced his opposition to the two-point score, claiming the rule has made it less attractive for teams to go chasing “the glamour” of goals.
The Offaly joint-manager suffered the consequences of this fundamental change on Sunday, as Meath scored seven two-pointers with the aid of a strong wind to turn a 10-point half-time deficit into a seven-point win.
