Galway manager Pádraic Joyce will not use travel as an excuse if their season ends in Dublin next weekend after one of the All-Ireland football quarter-finals.
Galway survived choppy waters in Newry to make the last eight and with Croke Park beckoning, Galway’s distance travelled over five weekends will reach 1850 kilometres.
