The Indiana Pacers just lost their star player.
Tyrese Haliburton went down in the first quarter of Game 7 in the NBA Finals, in what looked to be a serious right leg injury.

With 4:55 left in the first, Haliburton fell to the floor.
Haliburton knew right away his night was over, as he immediately started crying while lying on the court in excruciating pain.
Indiana’s franchise player came out swinging, drilling three 3-pointers early in the first quarter before going down with the injury.
His teammates huddled around him as the trainers attended to him.
He had to be helped off the court and into the locker room.
The camera panned to his father, John Haliburton, who looked distraught and extremely emotional, watching his son get helped off the court.
Everyone from LeBron James to Patrick Mahomes took to X and reacted in disbelief, sending their prayers to Haliburton.
“Prayers up man,” Mahomes wrote.
“F***,” James posted, with the praying hands emoji.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Donovan Mitchell also took to X.

“You never want to see that, prayers up,” Towns wrote.
“These calf strains ain’t no joke man! Prayers for Ty,” Mitchell posted.
Haliburton suffered a calf strain in Game 5, but gutted out the rest of that game, along with Game 6.
And came out with his hair on fire on the sport’s biggest stage before going down.
“If I can walk, I want to play,” Haliburton said after Game 5.
Unfortunately for Haliburton, he won’t be returning to Game 7, and in all likelihood, won’t be back for next season either.
