The controversial 50-metre penalty for obstructing a player who has called a mark looks set to be scrapped from Gaelic football.
The FRC have proposed an adjustment to the rule where instead of moving the ball forward 50 metres, frees for such breaches will now be taken from the spot where the foul occurred.
