Lauren Magee immediately knew she was in trouble. “I felt a crunch,” she says of that fateful moment at Dublin ladies senior football training in DCU on Saturday, May 31. Two weeks ago today.
On the Tuesday, an MRI scan confirmed the worst. The anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee was torn, her season over before it had properly begun.
