Drogheda United boss Kevin Doherty says he has faith in the club’s hierarchy – and legal team – to put forward a “strong case” and keep alive their hopes of competing in European football this summer.
On the field of play, Drogheda came away with an impressive and valuable point away to St Patrick’s Athletic on Friday night, the third 0-0 draw in three meetings of the two clubs this season. American keeper Luke Dennison was a key figure in the draw thanks to a number of saves, including his feat in keeping out a first half penalty from Mason Melia.
