Be careful what you wish for. We’re about to scrap a three-year-old championship format just when it’s about to get very, very interesting.
The final round of the last iteration of the All-Ireland SFC group stages – until the next Congress revamp – will rock around in less than a fortnight. And, to paraphrase Jim McGuinness, it’s going to be “massive”.
