PSG’s season could get even better with a Club World Cup run.
They won the Champions League after thrashing Inter 5-0 going to show how lethal they can be from the front with their talented strikers making it almost impossible to defend against.
Kvaratskhelia proved to be a handful too, having signed for the French side in January.
He played nine times in the UCL, scoring three goals and assisting twice proving to be a huge transfer coup exactly when they needed it.
He also scored four in 14 appearances in Ligue 1, also helping them to another piece of silverware for the 2024/25 season.
Of course the Club World Cup has quite a different set-up and Atletico are always a tough side to face.
They have themselves a huge amount of attacking power, a lot coming from Alexander Sorloth.
The Norwegian scored a staggering 20 goals from 35 appearances in La Liga and could be tough to defend against this weekend.
There should be plenty of goals from both sides with PSG surely taking the lead, as they both look to treat this game as an important outing for the new season ahead against top opposition.
