Paul Kimmage at the US Open
It was a long and difficult first day at the US Open in Oakmont for Rory McIlory and Shane Lowry.
McIlroy started brilliantly but unravelled on the back nine to finish the day on +4, while Lowry slumped to a 79 (+9).
