Conor McGregor has confirmed he has re-entered the drug testing pool as he eyes a stunning UFC comeback again.
McGregor hasn’t fought since 2021 when he fought Dustin Poirier in a huge trilogy and was forced to quit as he broke his leg.

The Irishman last year had an official comeback fight scheduled with Michael Chandler, but pulled out of the contest with a broken toe.
It was then unclear if he would ever return to the octagon, with UFC president Dana White giving worrying updates.
But with US president Donald Trump announcing that a historic UFC card will take place, McGregor has decided enough is enough.
His absence as a result could be ended, having publicly declared his desire to compete on the bill.
And according to BKFC business partner David Feldman, he is already back in testing pool ahead of a potential return.
Feldman said on the Ariel X Ade show: “He’s got two [UFC] fights left on his contract, and he’s got to get right.
“The whole world’s waiting, is he going to get in shape and fight? And he told me in person, he whispered in my ear.
“‘I’m in the testing pool, I’m getting ready to make my comeback. I’m going to fight on that [White House] card, then I’m going to have another fight, and then we can talk.
“That’s what he said [to Feldman].”
It is a staggering revelation, and it will come as no surprise given the size of the potential opportunity.

McGregor is the UFC’s biggest superstar and he is still contracted to the promotion despite his inactivity.
A whole host of big stars also compete across the 155lbs and 170lbs division including Paddy Pimblett, Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev.
The former two-weight champion has indicated he is open to fighting any of the three of the current superstar names.
It could be a truly groundbreaking night in the UFC, with Jon Jones also getting the wheels in motion to reverse his retirement and compete on the card.
If the pair meet side-by-side in two separate bouts, it promises to be one of the biggest events ever.
And White has teased that the big names will feature.

“Like when we did the Sphere. It’s the Sphere on steroids,” White said.
“It’s gonna be a one-of-one event. There’ll be nothing like it ever again.
“I’m going to make this one of the greatest events of all time.
“It will be a full card, and it will be the best card we’ve ever done to date.”
